It is starting to get colder in Tokyo and the humidity has vanished and the air has gotten very dry. I have a runny nose and a dry throat. So far, my 2013 fall has not been pleasant. I got out my humidifier tonight and have it set up to run through out the night. My throat can't survive without that thing. I hope everyone else's autumn is turning out all right. And as always, my job forces me to glare at a computer screen all day so I usually don't have the energy to come home and look at my personal pc and work on the translations but seeing how the Facebook likes have been rising, I was forced to realize that there are a lot of people that are quite entertained by this site. So I am currently translating the fifth short story in book 8 that takes place between book 6 and 7. I plan to upload that sometime after the Facebook likes reaches 400. It's not a vital part of the storyline, but I think any fan would be curious at how Edgar and Lydia spent their Christmas apart from each other. I would also like to say that the next book, Tell me the reason of your tears, is one of my top three favorite books in this series. So I hope everyone will enjoy my translation of that as well. As always, thank you all for visiting this website and for your patience in waiting for the uploads. Nalya

Dear HakuYo fans, thank you for waiting! To commermorate this Dearest Fairy fansite reaching 300 facebook likes, I have uploaded all of the remaining chapters of book 6. Please overlook all the spelling and grammar mistakes in the chapters. I personally think that this book is an important part in the development of Edgar's feelings and commitment towards Lydia. And Lydia slowly starting to build up her trust for Edgar. Although there is a long road ahead for Edgar and Lydia, there is a cute couple that is born in this book (unluckily, this will be their last appearance) and Lydia makes a lasting friendship she so deserves. Plus it will be so much fun reading the conversations that take place between Edgar and Lota from now on. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this book as much as I did. And of course, I cannot forget to thank the author, Mizue Tani for creating such a great story and the illustrator Asako Takaboshi for creating wonderful illustrations and ask for their pardon in me putting up my translations of their work. Anyone who likes this series enough, please support the author by buying her Japanese books! Enjoy! Nalya Hello dear HakuYo fans! Just thought to update everyone on how the translations are progressing. I am happy to say that chapter 3 of book 6 is translated. I will post it after my editor checks it. I have also decided what to do when the facebook Likes reaches 300. I will post all the remaining chapters of book 6 onto Dearest Fairy! There seems to be a steady increase in the likes so I don't think it will be that far until everyone gets to read all of book 6!! Will post again soon! Tilll then, Nalya I hate to have to say this, but a family emergency occurred and I have to use my time to help out with the family (my grandfather slipped and fell on his OTHER hip this time, and broke his hip bone.) So I have to say please wait until my personal life is put under control. Nothing life threatening, but time consuming none the less. Sorry I haven't made this post sooner, but I have to say that going to the hospital nearly every day can make you forget things. I haven't forgotten about the translations, and I will try to get them posted as soon as I (and my editor) can. Thanks again for all the visitors to this site. Nalya Dear HakuYo fans,
I am currently working on chapter 3 of book 6 and almost done. I just have to get it edited and then will post it online as soon as I can. I want to thank all the visitors to Dearest Fairy for checking up on the translation status and beg for your patience just a little longer. Also, I have gotten word that I should do 'something special' for when Dearest Fairy gets 300 facebook likes. I thought I might give that idea a try, but not quite sure what 'special' commemoration would suit everyone. I was thinking of translating and posting the images of the fanbook or translate one chapter that fans want to read most. If anyone has ideas, please let me know. Nalya Dear Dearest Fairy visitors, due to the overload of spam mail I received through the 'Send Comment to Nalya' button that was put on this 'Latest Info' page, I decided to take that down. If anyone finds any missing pages or broken links, please let me know through the send comments button on each individual table of contents page. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
On a lighter note, I put up three more online polls on this page in regards asking about relationships. I thought it would be interesting to hear what everyone's opinions are on these matters. First question: What are your most favorite couplings? (choose 3) There is the obvious answer, and room for two more couples you may like in this series. I'm interested in what people give as their answers. Second: What are your most favorite friendship/bonds? (choose 2) This is not about romantic relationships. More about friends and family ties. I want to say all of them, but most of all I admire the bond between Lydia and Carlton, the daughter and father bond. And Raven and Ermine, the hidden/growing sibling bond. Third: Which is the most interesting rivalry/battle? This is mostly centered around Edgar. Serious and comical. Choose only one. The last option is my favorite (Edgar vs. Carlton). There is a scene between these two in book 10 pages 14-15 that I like most. Those who don't know what I'm talking about, will have to wait for those translations. Be careful of what you write in Other since the results can be seen by everyone. So any visitors who have time, please try and let me know your thoughts. Enjoy! Nalya

Dear Hakushaku to Yousei fans, thanks for waiting. I have completed the translation of the second chapter in book 6: Ch. 2 Pirates have come! and posted it on Dearest Fairy for all to read. The heat here in Tokyo has been robbing me of my drive to make posts. Sorry, but I have to blame the temperature here. Lord it's hot! One thing I would like to put as reference here: There is a place called The Wash that comes out in this chapter and if there is anyone who wants more information, please click here. I cannot forget to thank the author, Mizue Tani for creating such a great story and the illustrator Asako Takaboshi for creating wonderful illustrations and ask for their pardon in me putting up my translations of their work. Anyone who likes this series enough, please support the author by buying her Japanese books! More of that on the Support tab! Enjoy! Nalya Hello all HakuYo fans, I don't know if anyone is aware that this coming Monday the 15th is a holiday in Japan. Great! More translating time for my hobby - I thought. Book 6 Chap. 1
Dear Hakushaku to Yousei fans, thank you for waiting. I have completed the translation of the first chapter in book 6: Ch. 1 Anguish of an adulterer and uploaded it on Dearest Fairy for all to read. I understand that I stated in my last blog that I would upload this chapter much earlier than today, and I apologize that I made that falso announcement, but I have to say in my defense that I didn't feel that well for a few days and had to put working on this fansite on hold for a while. Now that I have recovered, I want to thank all the visitors who took their time to post comments asking about my status, I really am touched byall the warm comments. I hope everyone has a good time with the first chapter of this new book. It's just the start of a really great adventure for Lydia and Edgar, involving a dragon and changelings, with a new major supporting character making her first appearance in the following chapters! Some of you may already know who I mean. For those who don't, please be patient and wait for the next chapter. I cannot forget to thank the author, Mizue Tani for creating such a wonderful story and adorable couple and the illustrator Asako Takaboshi for creating such great illustrations and ask for their pardon in me putting up my translations of their work. Anyone who likes this series enough, please support the author by buying her Japanese books like me! Enjoy! Nalya Dear HakuYo fans, sorry about not having the next book's chapter uploaded. My private life got a little more busy than I expected during this weekend so I didn't have time to work on that. I will try to upload the chapter tonight, or worst case tomorrow. Thanks for the patience. Nalya |
